Dr. Ioan Hanes MD

Dr. Ioan Hanes, MD, MSc is a medical doctor with a Master degree in Family Studies and Sexuality from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (KUL), Belgium and with a postgraduate training in Clinical Sexology from Université Libre Bruxelles (ULB), Belgium. He is the founder and director of the European Lifestyle Medicine Certificate and the newly elected vice-president of the European Lifestyle Medicine Organisation (ELMO). His research and scientific presentations pioneer the link between sexual health and lifestyle medicine. He is the author of the chapter on Sexual Health and Lifestyle Medicine in the ELMO e-book: Lifestyle Medicine and Chronic Diseases. Prevention and Treatment. Dr. Hanes is a certified clinical nutritionist at the Belgian Military Hospital where practices lifestyle medicine and a medical expert working for different governmental agencies in Brussels, Belgium. He speaks five languages fluently: English, Romanian, Hungarian, French and Dutch.
